Capital Esprit is a comic book that tells the story of a first person shooter operative faced to telepathic existential threats and a silent transponder.

The title, imagery and quotes play around the notions of past and contemporary empires as well as of video games, with appearances of the typical FN Five SeveN gun, the head of the lupa capitolina, a B2-Spirit bomber and quotes from Marcus Aurelius. With its austere writing and seductive silver overprint, Capital Esprit forms a short but dense, daydream-like story to read and observe.

The book has been published in 200 copies by Super-Structure, an underground publishing house that pushes offset printing to its limits, led by Sukrii Kural and Fran├žois De Jonge. You can order a copy by mailing me or Super-Structure.
